Where did you get the idea for NinjaLessons.com?
That's a good question! A few years ago, our instructor brought a handheld video camera to class and taped training. Afterwards, in an effort to help us see the lesson and how our bodies moved, he posted them up on a private website. After doing this a couple of times, we all agreed that seeing the lesson and watching ourselves practice gave us a better sense of the training. The fact that we could review and practice some lessons at home was pretty cool, too. Then some of our class mates moved far away and asked if Sensei could keep providing it for them. That was pretty much when Ninja Lessons Online was born.

Can I earn rank online?
Ninja Lessons does not attempt to award any rank of any kind. NinjaLessons.com provides the viewer with an look into an actual ninja school and offers insights and virtual lessons. We feel that the online content will be beneficial to entertain and educate those interested in any martial art. When creating Ninja Lessons we kept in mind a statement our teacher made in a Black Belt Magazine article: "A dojo isn't something with a concrete form. Every day is a dojo, wherever you are." (Masaaki Hatsumi Sensei, 1997)

Do you have a real dojo? Can I come to train or visit?
First off, we recommend that you use Ninja Lessons to supplement your training at a real dojo. There are many fine ninjutsu schools located throughout the USA (Shidoshi Kai). Please consider visiting one in your area. If you live in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut you are welcome to visit our home dojo! For more info view our web site:
